Runs locally
By default, on the NPU and GPU of an AMD Ryzen™ AI PC. It also runs on other Windows, macOS and Linux machines.

First launch
Downloads a ~6 GB model (~23 GB on Ryzen AI Max, which runs the larger Qwen3.6).

Cloud is opt-in
Choose Fireworks AI with your own key and your chat goes to that provider. Documents are still indexed on your PC. How providers work

GAIA is MIT-licensed and developed on GitHub. Skills, evals, bug reports and fixes are all welcome, and some issues are tagged for first-time contributors.
